The normal appeal for a hamster is its cuteness .your hamster will not take much space up in your home and will cause little nosie apart from when it comes a live at night bitting its bars and running on it wheel (best kept out your bedroom) .there should be no real smell from there cage as long as they are cleaned out regulary eg once a week and toilet area cleaned daily and renew the sawdust in the area .most hamsters are lively ,curious ,confident,relaxed but if frightened you will see a total diffrent side to them . there behaviour is funny to watch on a night time as they run ,climb and act daft you will find your little friend very exciting to watch on a night time and will become more tame as they are handle gently

althought hamsters do not have a long life span they will normally live quite happily throughout there lifes which can be up to 3 years. the record for a hamster life stands currently at 7 years .if your hamster does get into any difficult or becomes ill contact your local vet asap.
