Respiratory system – Exchanges gases that come into the hamster lungs ,so that the blood carrys enough oxygen ,to help feed your hamsters cells . the respiratory contains the following ;
- Lower respiratory
- Upper respiratory
Cardiovascular system – Cants your hamsters heart ,arteries and veins , it plays the part of transporting oxygenated blood to your hammys vital organs, oxygen in any hamster is vital for there cells to be correct and function properly .The cardiovasucular system contains the following ;
- Heart
- Arteries
- Veins
- Blood
- Heart problems
Digestive system – Is the process were food particles are broke down into small pieces ,this is were nutrients are absorbed into your hamster blood stream .The digestive system contains the following ;
- Mouth
- Stomach
- Small intestine
- Large intestine
Endocrine system – The endocrine system contains numerous glands and are all over your hamsters body .The endocrine system contains the following ;
- Thyroid gland
- Parathyriod glands
- Adrenal glands
- Pituitary gland
Urinary system – Urine is a watery fluid that contains the bodys waste and many contain some poisions.any healthy hammy produces 7ml of urine a day the ph level is 7 (alkaline). Normal urine is thick and yellow in a healthy hamster
Reproductive system – Most hamsters will become sexual active at 30 days plus from birth ,breeding may being 6-10 weeks.The reproductine system contains the following ;
- Males
- Oestrus and pregnancy
- females
